On Sunday at 3:50 a.m. a high wind watch was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Tuesday 4 p.m. until Wednesday 7 a.m. for Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County and Central and Eastern Lake County.
"South winds 30 to 50 mph with gusts up to 70 mph possible," states the weather service. "After Wednesday morning, additional episodes of strong winds are possible during the remainder of the week."
