Heading into the 4th of July weekend, we want to thank you in advance for being a part of what keeps Hillsboro safe.

Our dispatchers and officers will be working around the clock—but the truth is, we can’t do it without you.

Please help keep our 911 lines open for true emergencies—things like injuries, fires, or active threats to safety. Fireworks complaints, noise concerns, or accidental pocket dials may seem small, but they can delay life-saving responses. Because every second counts when someone’s life is on the line.

For non-urgent issues, like fireworks reports, please use our non-emergency number: (503) 629-0111.

And a reminder: If our officers or fire marshals find you using or possessing illegal fireworks, you may be cited—with fines up to $765. At minimum, illegal fireworks will be seized and destroyed.

Let’s all do our part to keep this holiday safe for everyone. When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it, or it's been deleted.
