The 2023 Violet Vines Ultra Violet Reserve Pinot Noir is aApril and Brian Zawada, co-owners of Violet Vines Winery, are proud Ohio expats.This nifty ultraviolet keychain light is Violet Vines' answer to a decoder ring.The impressive 2022 Violet Vines Syrah, made with grapes from The Rocks District of Milton-Freewater AVA, has earned accolades from numerous wine publications.Brian and April Zawada, owners, join manager Brit Johnson behind the wine bar in the Violet Vines tasting room.In addition to pinot noir and chardonnay, a tasting room map shows that the Violet Vines Vineyard contains a few new surprises.The Violet Vines tasting room is well worth a road trip to Main Street in Carlton, Oregon.Violet Vines offers dual flights of wines from the Willamette Valley as well as their vineyard in Milton-Freewater, Oregon.Violet Vines Vineyard is a short scenic drive away from downtown Sheridan, Oregon.

Two years ago, I received a wine sample in the mail that included a small ultraviolet light attached to a keychain. I could not figure out why it was in the box.
