Description
FAIR FUN, FREAKSHAKES, AND YOUR NEXT GREAT READ
As we once again get ready for the Coos County Fair, don’t forget to stop by the Coos County Library booth where your friendly librarians will be waiting to offer free books, sign you up for a library card, and give stickers to the kids. As always, we will have books for all ages and interests!
Tween Club will be meeting tomorrow, Friday July 17 from 3:00-4:30 and we will be whipping up some delicious milkshakes. But not just any milkshakes, freakshakes covered in chocolate covered strawberries, sprinkles, and other delicious goodies. Tweens age 9-14 are invited to come make a yummy summer treat!
Do you find yourself stuck in a rut? Not sure what book to read or listen to next? The library staff at the Coos Bay Public Library would love to help! Join our book-of-the-month program and each month a staff member will pick a book (or audiobook) for you based on your interests. Just stop by and fill out a book of the month application and let us know your likes and dislikes. To help us refine your likes even more, fill out the short evaluation included with each book we choose for you. Then on the first Friday of every month, you will find your surprise book on the shelf already checked out to you. This is a great way to try out new authors, genres, or even formats.
