Did you know this year, the Rotary Coos Foundation awarded:  
~$8000 in scholarships, that include students from MHS, NBHS, and SOCC.  
~$3200 to send students from MHS and NBHS to RYLA. Rotary Youth Leadership Awards.  
~$2550 to send students from MHS and NBHS to Boys State and Girls State.  
But that’s not all. In April and May alone, the foundation awarded grants to the:  
~MHS Band to attend a Pearl Harbor event-$2000.  
~$980 for Oregon Coast Music Association.  
~$2000 for Coos County Community Concert Association.  
~$2000 for Music on the Bay.  
~$3300 for Oregon Coast Artisans Trade Education Collective (OCATEC)  
~$2000 for the Shore Acres Holiday Lights Shuttle Bus.  
  
The foundation is funded by an endowment from Dr. Ennis Keizer, Rotarians, and the community through the annual Festival of Trees.
