CBPL, 525 Anderson Ave., Coos Bay - Pickup/Drop-off Eastside; Friday, March 21 at the Eastside Fire Station, 365 D Street, Coos Bay, 9:00am – 9:30am. Return or pick up library materials every Friday in front of the Eastside Fire Department. Pickup/Drop-off Empire - Friday, March 21 at the Empire Fire Station, 189 S Wall Street, Coos Bay, 10:00am – 10:30am, Pickup or drop-off library materials in front of the Empire Fire Station. DIY Cubism-Style Hanging Art Mobiles - Friday, March 21 in the Cedar Room, 2:00pm – 4:00pm. Join us to create hanging art mobiles out of recycled cardboard. Participants will cut, paint, decorate, and connect to create their own cubist-style hanging art mobiles. Mobiles will be displayed in the YA department with consent of the individual. Teens 13-18, Dungeons & Dragons, Friday, March 21 in the Cedar Room, 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Seats are prioritized for new players. We are implementing a no phone policy to make sure players are participating and engaged with the game. Writers Group - Saturday, March 22 in the Cedar Room, 10:00am – 11:00am. Enjoy some coffee and light snacks while we work on writing prompts. Share ideas and get feedback on writing works. Spend time with like minded individuals working on their writing. Bring your own works, coffee and snacks will be provided. Maker Lab - Saturday, March 22 in the Myrtlewood Room, 11:00am – 1:00pm. Do you like to make things from spare parts? Would you like to take apart computers, phones, tablets and repair them or make something new with it? Or do you like to make art from recycled parts. This is the hang out for you. All ages (12 and under must have an adult). Bring your latest project to show and tell. We will have some hand tools to work on projects, but bring your own if you have them. Hang out, experiment, enjoy and learn something new. Snacks will be provided.
