Southwestern Oregon’s baseball team has four-NWAC games against Lane, Saturday & Sunday. The Lakers will host the Titans, Saturday, 1 & 4 p.m., at Coos Bay, and on Sunday, SWOCC (6-4, 10-9) will head to Eugene to play Lane (7-5, 12-8) at 1 & 4 p.m. Southwestern is in second-place, Lane third in the South Conference of the NWAC. Linn Benton (9-3, 13-3-1) leads the conference. SWOCC’s softball team (1-5, 12-6) looks to break a four-game losing streak with a home doubleheader on Friday, noon & 2 p.m. against Chemeketa (2-4, 9-11) and Saturday against Umpqua (2-8, 3-15) at South Umpqua HS, Tri-City/Myrtle Ck., noon & 2 p.m. The Lakers’ track & field team has a meet at Willamette University, Salem, on Saturday, 11 a.m.
