COOS BAY LIBRARY FOOD DRIVE FOR THE ARK PROJECT

The Coos Bay Public Library is excited to be a collection site for the ARK project during the months of October, November and December. This project helps homeless kids and youth in Coos County as part of the Coos Bay School District by providing clothes, food, hygiene products and other resources to homeless children and their families. The Ark Project provides a foundation for these children and helps remove barriers that prevent them from focusing on their education while fostering self-sufficiency. If you would like to help stock the pantry at the ARK PROJECT's Drop-in Center for Coos County Youth, please drop off any unopened and non-perishable food or hygiene items such as those listed below at the Front Desk of the Coos Bay Public Library.

Food Items: canned/boxed foods, microwaveable dinners, snacks

Hygiene Items: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, mouth wash, toothbrushes and paste, floss, deodorant, laundry pods
