Description
Construction Project
The City has contracted with Knife River Materials for the 2025 Fall Pothole Repair Project. Work will consist of the repair of 39 potholes at various locations that encompass approximately 18,040 SQFT of damaged road surface throughout the city including five (5) large potholes in Eastside (7,500 SQFT) and fifteen (15) large potholes in Empire (4,170 SQFT). Potholes of these sizes are beyond the capacity of city staff to competitively make repairs in house. These repairs will typically require a lane closure with flaggers present to control the flow of traffic through the job sites. Work is set to begin on August 27, 2025 until complete. Work hours are from 7:30am until 6:00pm. Please slow down and use caution and be patient when near the construction zone.
Should you have questions, please feel free to contact Public Works Operations Administrator Greg Hamblet at (541)269-1181 ext. 3541 or email [email protected].
