This week is National Correctional Professionals Week and National Medical & Mental Health Care Providers Week, so we would like to take a moment to recognize them all! Jail operations, providing medical care, and serving mental health needs in a correctional environment are challenging professions that require flexible and dedicated staff. We at the Lane County Sheriff’s Office are particularly proud of our staff and the impact that they have on our community. In addition to our deputies, the Lane County Sheriff’s Office is proud of all of the Operations Support staff and contracted employees including nurses, food service, and laundry services personnel that keep our Corrections Division functioning around the clock.
