A cold weather advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Friday at 10:16 a.m. in effect until noon for North Oregon Coast Range Lowlands, Central Oregon Coast Range Lowlands, Lower Columbia River, Tualatin Valley, West Central Willamette Valley, East Central Willamette Valley, Benton County Lowlands, Linn County Lowlands, Lane County Lowlands and Clackamas County Cascade Foothills.
The weather service says to expect, "Very cold wind chills as low as 20 to 25 degrees."
