The U.S. Coast Guard rescued two people Monday after their 14-foot pleasure craft began taking on water near the Coquille River South Jetty in Bandon, Oregon.

On July 28th at about 11pm, HPD officers received reports of a car crashing into a house near the intersection of SE Brookwood Avenue and SE Oakhurst Street. Officers responded and, with assistance from Hillsboro Fire & Rescue , made sure everyone was safe inside the home. Officers began a DUII investigation and arrested the driver, Christopher Quandee (27), for DUII. He provided a breath sample that showed his BAC to be 0.21%. Thankfully nobody was injured in this crash.
