City of North Bend release - Six candidates have qualified for North Bend’s Nov. 3 ballot: two for Mayor and four for City Council. Official candidate filings are available online.  The candidate filing period for the November 3, 2026 General Election has concluded, and the City of North Bend has completed the petition and signature-verification process for candidates seeking election to Mayor and City Council.  North Bend voters will elect one Mayor to a two-year term and three City Councilors to four-year terms.  Mayor — Vote for One - Two candidates have qualified for the office of Mayor:  Jessica Engelke; Harry Haines VII.  City Council — Vote for Three:  Four candidates have qualified for the three available City Council positions:  Jenny E. Jones; Mary Jo Golder; Susanna Noordhoff; Garrett R. King.  The City has certified these candidates to Coos County Elections for placement on the November 3, 2026 General Election ballot.  Two additional individuals who previously began the candidate filing process, Andrew Brainard and Christine Stole, subsequently withdrew their candidacies and will not appear on the ballot.
