Description

A crew works to demolish Centennial Mills on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, in Portland. Crews began taking down the exterior walls of the warehouse, which burned Aug. 2, bringing the building to about half its original height.

Portland city officials had said it could take up to two weeks to bring down the charred Centennial Mills building. The demolition ended up taking less than two days.
