Can You ID Me? – Case #25-15619

On August 7, 2025, an electric bike valued at $2,000 was stolen from WinCo Foods while the owner was shopping.

Thanks to store surveillance footage and quick investigative work, one suspect was located and arrested the next day, and the bike was recovered from a wooded area in Dairy Creek Park. The owner was reunited with his bike and was grateful to have it back.

We’re still working to identify Suspect 1, who is seen wearing blue shorts in the attached photos and video.

Here’s what we know:

Suspect 1 stole the bike from WinCo, pushing it away because it had a flat tire.

Behind the store, he met Donavan Moon (already in custody), who questioned him about the bike.

After initially claiming it belonged to a friend, Suspect 1 admitted it wasn’t his, apologized, shook Donavan’s hand, and gave him the bike.

Donavan then hid the bike in Dairy Creek Park, where officers later recovered it.

If you recognize Suspect 1 in the blue shorts or have any information about his identity, please contact Hillsboro Police at 503-681-6190, reference Case #25-15619.Photos from Hillsboro Police Department's post
