CAMPING RULES I Homelessness impacts individuals, families, and communities across the country. Here are some of the camping rules for the City of Hillsboro. When shelter is not available, overnight camping on certain public property is allowed between 7 pm and 7 am. Among other restrictions, camping on public property is not allowed in residential zones, at City parks, near K-12 schools, or within 10 feet of business entrances. Camping may not block sidewalks, leave behind litter, or create fire hazards. For further information, you can refer to Hillsboro Municipal Code 9.44.030 -- Prohibited Camping.
