A very wet and soggy day at Tryon Creek Visitor Center in Portland on May 4, 2024. An atmospheric river is bringing inches of rain to the Portland area this week.

An atmospheric river that moved into Oregon on Wednesday is expected to pelt the Portland area with about 4 inches of rain through early Saturday.
