Affordable fashion chain closing 120 stores due to ‘negative pressure’ on customers

Description

According to its website, Cato’s operates 851 stores in 30 states, with the most in Texas, (140), North Carolina (81), Georgia (67), Alabama (55) and South Carolina (50).

Cato’s decision to close additional stores this year comes after an evaluation showed the underperforming locations weren’t likely to improve, company officials said.
