Investigators in Allen County, Kansas, are examining the circumstances surrounding the death of a 4-year-old child who authorities say suffered an apparent electrical shock involving a clothes dryer.

A 4-year-old child died after suffering an apparent electrical shock from a clothes dryer while playing inside a southeastern Kansas home, according to local authorities. Investigators said the incident occurred Aug. 6 in Savonburg, a small community in Allen County, Yahoo! reports.
