Despite responding "Code 3" with lights and sirens, it took approximately 40 minutes for deputies to arrive due to limited staffing and distance from their previous calls. Deputies contacted an involved person at the residence and located the other involved person in a vehicle in the area. One of the involved had cuts to their face and a puncture wound in one leg. After additional investigation, deputies arrested Carrie Jean Hogan, 58, of Westlake. She was lodged at the Lane County Jail for Assault in the 2nd Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
