3/13/25 - LCSO Case #25-1231   
  
Deputies arrest male committing multiple crimes in Hayes Lane area   
  
On March 13th at about 10:30 a.m., Lane County Sheriff’s deputies and a Junction City Police officer responded to the 30500 block of Hayes Lane, southeast of Junction City, for a report of a male trespassing in the area.   
  
Additional calls came in about the male as he continued across rural properties and entered buildings, including a home with children inside. Deputies spotted the male sprinting across a field and then disappearing into heavy brush.    
  
Another deputy responded with a drone, and soon located the suspect, Jacob Lee Woody, 34, of Eugene. Woody was arrested and lodged at the Lane County Jail for:   
  
 - Burglary in the 1st Degree   
 - Burglary in the 2nd Degree   
 - Theft in the 1st Degree   
 - Theft in the 2nd Degree   
 - 5 counts of Criminal Trespass in the 2nd Degree.
