Deputies arrest assault suspect, locate firearm   
  
On March 13th at about 8 a.m., Lane County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a dispute in the 500 block of Rosewood Avenue, Eugene. They contacted the involved and after investigating, arrested Brian Christopher Vaughan, 47, of Eugene and lodged him at the Lane County Jail for Strangulation, Assault in the 4th Degree, Menacing, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.    
  
Deputies then applied for and were granted a search warrant to locate the handgun used in the incident. During their search, they located the handgun in the residence.Photos from Lane County Sheriff's Office's post
