Deputies respond to morning dispute in Glenwood   
  
On January 13th at 7 a.m., Lane County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a physical dispute at E. 14th Avenue and Lexington Avenue in Glenwood. Deputies contacted several involved people and witnesses, and reviewed surveillance video from a nearby business.    
  
When deputies arrived, they initially detained a male identified by witnesses as being involved. He was determined not to be involved, but was arrested for being in possession of methamphetamine.   
  
Through their investigation, deputies determined several people engaged in a physical dispute in the street. During the incident, a male swung a backpack which struck a woman holding a baby. A handgun fell out of the backpack and was recovered by others. Eventually the male fled the area. Only minor injuries were reported.   
  
Witnesses reported the male may have ran to a nearby house. Deputies contacted the residents, none of whom were identified as the involved male.    
  
Deputies are working to identify the male who was in possession of the handgun. He is described as a white male adult with brown shoulder-length hair and a receding hair line. He was last seen wearing dark colored clothing.
