Description
Yesterday, our Crisis Negotiation Team, made up of staff from the Sheriff's Office and Winston Police Department, had the opportunity to conduct scenario-based training at Roseburg High School. This hands-on training is an essential part of building and sharpening the skills needed to effectively respond in critical situations.
A huge thank you to the Riddle Fire Protection District for their incredible support—they not only provided staff but also brought out their ladder truck to assist with the training. We’re also extremely grateful to Roseburg Public Schools for allowing us to use the school grounds. Access to real-world environments is critical in preparing our team for crisis scenarios. These opportunities help us train more effectively and ensure we’re ready to serve our community when it matters most.
These partnerships are vital to our success, and we truly appreciate the collaboration and community spirit that makes this kind of training possible.
