A Wyoming woman has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the death of her 11-month-old son after authorities said she took the child across state lines in violation of a custody order and fatally shot him as law enforcement closed in on an RV in rural New Mexico, Cowboy State Daily reported. Authorities announced this week that 36-year-old Madeline Veronique Daly entered the plea in Grant County, avoiding a trial that had been scheduled for early 2027.
