Description

Much of the building was charred and waterlogged the night after a devestating fire tore through Elephant’s Delicatessen on March 10, 2026.

The 56-year-old homeless woman who told police she was looking for food in the garbage when she accidentally started the fire that tore through the flagship Elephants Delicatessen in Northwest Portland in March was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty to two misdemeanors.
