Angel Geib, 40, was killed early Saturday in a shooting in an apartment in the Hazelwood neighborhood. The man accused in the shooting told police he was cleaning his gun when it fired.

A man accused in a woman’s death in Hazelwood was cleaning his gun in his friend’s apartment when the firearm discharged Saturday, according to court records.
