Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper Bradley Ritger died Oct. 2 after suffering critical injuries while assisting during a vehicle pursuit near the Dunn and Eau Claire county line, officials said.

A young Wisconsin state trooper who was badly hurt during a vehicle chase has died, leaving his family, fellow officers and communities across the state mourning a life cut short.
