Description
On Tuesday at 2:28 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory valid from Friday 4 a.m. until Saturday 10 p.m. for South Central Oregon Cascades and Siskiyou Mountains and Southern Oregon Cascades.
The weather service adds, "Total snow accumulations between 12 and 24 inches above 5000 feet, with up to 30 inches possible over the highest peaks and ridgetops. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph."
