The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 12:40 p.m. on Wednesday valid from Thursday 10 a.m. until Friday 10 a.m. for Central Columbia River Gorge I-84 Corridor.
"Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations up to around one tenth of an inch," describes the weather service. "The best chances for freezing rain accumulation will occur around the Hood River and White Salmon area."
