On Saturday at 8:12 p.m. a winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Sunday 4 p.m. until Monday 4 p.m. for Jackson County.
The weather service states, "Heavy wet snow expected Above 2000 feet. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 12 inches. 1 to 4 inches of snow anticipated below 2000 feet. Highest totals are anticipated in the southern part of the County, with lowest snow levels during late Sunday night through Monday morning."
