Description
On Saturday at 2:42 a.m. a winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Sunday 10 a.m. until Monday 10 p.m. for East Slopes of the Oregon Cascades.
The weather service adds, "Heavy snow expected mainly along the Cascade crest with total snow accumulations between 8 and 15 inches. Lower elevations including LaPine, Sunriver, Sisters and Camp Sherman will see lesser amounts of snow on the order of 4 to 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph may cause some blowing snow mainly along the Cascade crest."
