The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory at 12:56 a.m. on Thursday valid for Friday between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. for Harney and Malheur counties.

The weather service states, "West-Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected."
