On Friday at 6:57 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory in effect until 3 p.m. for Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
The weather service describes, "South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 40 to 55 mph expected for the base of the northern Blue Mountains of Oregon."
