On Thursday at 2:46 a.m. a wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Friday 4 p.m. until Saturday 1 a.m. for Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon and Foothills of the Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
The weather service describes, "West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected."
