A wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 4:21 a.m. valid from 1 p.m. until Thursday 4 a.m. for Eastern Curry County and Josephine County and Jackson County.
"South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 65 mph expected," adds the weather service. "Winds will be strongest over the coastal mountains in eastern Curry and Josephine counties. Winds will be strongest south of Medford late this evening and tonight."
