At 2:45 p.m. on Monday, the National Weather Service released an air stagnation advisory in effect until Friday at 4 a.m. for Tualatin Valley, West Hills and Chehalem Mountains, Inner Portland Metro, West Central Willamette Valley, East Central Willamette Valley, Benton County Lowlands, Linn County Lowlands and Lane County Lowlands.

The weather service states to be ready for, "Light winds and limited air movement will lead to a period of stagnant air conditions."
