The U.S. Postal Service will observe Independence Day on Saturday, July 4, meaning mail won’t be delivered that day and post offices will be closed.

Independence Day falls on a Saturday this year but, for many, the holiday is more of a long weekend. That isn’t the case for the U.S. Post Office, though you may find changes in your market.
