A wildfire in Lyle, Washington, has prompted officials to issue a Level 3 “Go Now” evacuation order for parts of the Southwest Washington community on Sunday afternoon, according to Klickitat County Emergency Management.
The fire has been named the Lyle Hill Fire. Two evacuation points have been set up for residents, at the Bible Baptist Church in Goldendale, Wash. and the Columbia High School in White Salmon, the Klickitat County Sheriff’s Office said.

The weather in Lyle on Sunday afternoon was around 70 degrees, but the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for the area through 11 p.m. Sunday.
Lyle experienced the devastating Burdoin Fire in the summer of 2025, which destroyed 19 homes and burned more than 11,000 acres.
