Description
A brush fire, which broke out east of Bingen, Washington, on Friday afternoon has prompted officials to issue multiple evacuation orders.
Among the orders include a Level 3 (Go Now!) evacuation notice for people living south of Highway 14 at mile marker 68. The order extends to residents east of Courtney Road and north to Forbes Road in Klickitat County.
The Burdoin Mountain Fire, which is burning on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge, also forced officials with the Washington State Department of Transportation to close State Road 14 in both directions between milepost 66 and 74.
Washington State Department of Transportation advised drivers to use alternative routes as it was unclear when the road will reopen.

Firefighters are warning people to stay out of the area as crews from several agencies across Klickitat County work to contain the fire.
According to the U.S. Forest Service, the fire is estimated to be about 250 acres and is still growing.
