Description

Recipients of Supplemental Security Income, or SSI, are normally paid the first of the month, something that will happen on schedule Aug. 1. But instead of waiting until Sept. 1 for the next payment, SSI recipients will get a check Aug. 29.

A typical month involves a series of Social Security payments with dates based on the type of benefits you receive or a person’s date of birth. Some months, however, the calendar necessitates moving some payment dates so that two checks are issued in a single month.
