For many football fans, the NFL season does not officially begin until they hear the opening theme for Sunday Night Football. This year, viewers noticed something different. NBC introduced a new version of the longtime anthem, giving the familiar song a stronger rock-and-roll sound for the 2026 season, nbcdfw.com said.
