Description

Sarah Coulton has served as a CASA volunteer for six years, looking out for a boy who entered the foster care system when he was 10 months old. “The presence of one caring, consistent adult can truly change the trajectory of a child’s life,” she says. “I know this because it changed mine.”

Champions of Oregon foster children cheered the official announcement Thursday that $1 million in federal funding is headed to the state’s network of court-appointed special advocates programs.
