A new OHSU-led study of Oregon’s psilocybin services found participants reported better mental health for months after their sessions. Mushrooms for patient use are shown at a psilocybin service center in Gresham on Nov. 18, 2024.

Nearly six years after Oregon legalized psychedelic mushrooms for regulated services, researchers have their clearest picture yet of what happened to the people who followed.
