Wells players and coaches address the fans during the OSAA Class 6A open championship first round game between Central Catholic and Wells on Friday, Nov. 8, 2024 at Hillsboro Stadium.

The two-time reigning Portland Interscholastic League champion Wells football team needed a win on Thursday evening to keep pace in the race for the city championships.
