On December 15, 2025, Juliet Davison was administered her oath of office by Chief Chris Chapanar as a Community Service Officer for the City of Coos Bay/Coos Bay Police Department.    
  
Among the many critical duties of the Community Service Officer are enforcement of Coos Bay municipal codes, particularly regarding attractive nuisance violations, as well as buildings, landscaping, and signage. The Community Service Officer will proactively engage in identifying code violations and begin working to find ways to remedy the problem.       
  
Juliet Davison has called Coos County home for her entire adult life and is excited to join the City of Coos Bay Police Department as a Community Service Officer. With seven years of law enforcement experience as a Correctional Officer for the Oregon Youth Authority, Juliet brings a wealth of knowledge in public service and community engagement to the department. Outside of work, Juliet enjoys fly fishing, training bird hunting dogs and shooting sports.  
  
We are very excited to bring Juliet on-board, and we look forward to watching her excel in her role as a Community Service Officer for the City of Coos Bay/Coos Bay Police Department.
