Many characters walked around the festival grounds.The Portland Weird United collective held its inaugural Portland Weird Fest at Oaks Park on Saturday, September 7, 2024.A Bob Ross impersonator painted people visiting the festival.Portland Weird Fest had many vendors with art available for purchase.Bunnies-N-More is an exotic pet sitter who had her snake on display for people to hold.Portland Weird Fest attendees pose for a photo with The Sleestak.A festival attendee shops earrings from a local artist.Poki Crafts n Stuff is a local artist who had taxidermy products and bolo ties for sale.Artists of all kinds had their work on display and for sale at the Portland Weird Fest.Ted Wheeler declared September 7th 2024Tyme Warp Designs is a local artist who creates resin products with fantasy themes.Joseph Brady creates body positivity portraiture on the spot.DeeDee and Shark is a vendor that makesPyxis the unicorn posed for photos at the Portland Weird Fest.Corner of the Eye creates jewelry and other art revolving around eyeballs.Consciously Crafted Jewelry offered earrings made from bicycle inner tubes available to purchase.Attendees could pose with a mermaid at the Portland Weird Fest.

All things wacky and weird gathered Saturday at Oaks Park for the first Portland Weird Fest. The nonprofit Weird Portland United is best known for their iconic characters (like the Unipiper) and quirky meetups. The festival is the collective’s first event of the kind.
