On Saturday at 7:55 a.m. the National Weather Service released a special weather statement until 10 a.m. for Wallowa County.
"Patchy fog, locally dense with visibility as low as one-quarter mile, is present in Wallowa Valley. Expect rapid reductions in visibility over short distances, slow down and allow extra distance between other vehicles on the road. Fog is anticipated to lift through morning," states the weather service.
