On Monday at 6:14 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a special weather statement until 9 a.m. for Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon.
"Patchy dense fog has developed across portions of the Lower Columbia Basin in Oregon this morning, with visibilities as low as a quarter mile. Reduced visibility will continue to impact the Hermiston area, as well as sections of Interstate 84 and US 395 through this morning," says the weather service.
