On Tuesday at 2:21 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a special weather statement until 8:30 p.m. for Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
"Patchy dense fog, with visibility around one quarter mile, was observed on road cameras and reported by weather stations this afternoon. This patchy dense fog has the potential to expand in areal coverage heading into the evening hours, and especially overnight into Wednesday morning. Motorists should be aware that dense fog reducing visibility to one quarter of a mile could become widespread This Evening," states the weather service.
